Admission Guidelines

Admission Consideration

Immaculate Heart of Mary School seeks to develop the whole person spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.  Consideration for admission is based on the fundamental belief that a student succeeds within a school setting that matches his or her family values and academic expectations.  The extent to which a student may develop as a whole person and prosper academically is carefully considered during the evaluation of a student’s application.

Admission Policies
All schools in the Diocese of Charlotte admit students of any race, color, sex, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at these schools.  A child entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 31st of the year in which the child is presented for enrollment, as verified by a birth certificate.
